Following are the three easy steps of how your charity can receive GIK and book its value as revenue.
- Charity Services International will present the best possible GIK loads to you.
- Upon your approval we will coordinate the shipping of your donated goods as well as obtaining all of the necessary documentation.
- When the shipment is completed, CSI will supply the following documents to you in order to meet the regulations and standards associated with GIK:
- Request letter from end user.
- Original donation letter.
- Distribution report from the end user explaining how the cargo was distributed.
- Copy of the bill of lading showing the cargo went overseas with your charity named as the shipper.
- Validated inventory.
